About the Current Position Available 

Senior/Intermediate Network Technician

On the technical side of things, we are looking for someone with many talents and a strong desire and ability to develop the right skills. The new team member will have varied responsibilities.

The successful candidate’s primary duties will include:

• Delivery of exceptional technology service to our clients, provided through remote access and via the phone, as well as onsite service and service in a shop setting, while communicating the results to our customers. Primarily these services will include technical support and new implementations.
• Management of the GCS Tech shop including all incoming and outgoing lab repairs, daily receiving, and inventory.

Primary qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of related experience
• Active Directory Certification or equivalent knowledge/experience applicable to small business networks
• Microsoft Exchange Certification or equivalent knowledge/experience applicable to small business networks
• Strong hardware knowledge and experience with comfort ability building/imaging/reinstalling Windows and backing up/restoring user profiles, data and applications.
• Strong foundation with hardware, software and networking/connectivity
• Passionate about technology and related confidence
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Professional presentation
• Excellent interpersonal skills/relationship building skills
• Ability to learn and improve
• Ability to identify and sell recommendations
• Excellent keyboarding skills

Other Desired Skills/Background:

• Experience working with small business customers
• MS SQL Knowledge
• VMWare experience
• CCNA certification
• MCITP Certification
• Sharepoint
• Other Windows, Cisco, or technology diplomas and certifications are always a plus
